Sublime with Rome to Perform at Spring Fling

MANSFIELD, PA— Sublime with Rome will perform in concert at Karl Van Norman Field on Friday, April 28, at 8web Sublime with Rome p.m. Gates will open at 7 p.m.

The concert is part of MU’s annual Spring Fling, sponsored by the Student Government Association (SGA).

Formed in 2009 in Long Beach, CA, Sublime with Rome is a collaboration between Eric Wilson, formerly of the band Sublime, and singer and guitarist Rome Ramirez. They are now joined by drummer Carlos Verdugo.

The group performs many songs by Sublime. They released their debut album, Yours Truly, in 2011 and the band’s latest album, Sirens, was released in 2015.

The concert will also feature special guests A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and Don Q.

Tickets for are $25 plus handling fees. They are available at the Mountie Den (Campus Bookstore) Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. and at the Mansfield Chamber of Commerce, 51 South Main Street, during normal business hours. Tickets are also available on-line at mansfield.tix.com.

Concert tickets are free to MU students with ID at the Information Booth in Alumni Hall.

The MU Spring Fling concert event is funded by student activity fees.
