The Respiratory Therapy Program is a full-time, two-year Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree program. It is a collaborative program with The MU Department of Health Sciences and the Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital. Joe Sawyer Jr, interim chief operating officer at Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital and Kathy Wright, chairperson of Mansfield University’s Department of Health Sciences, both offered their congratulations to the program’s dedicated faculty and hardworking students.

Students spend the first semester on the campus at Mansfield and the remaining three semesters plus two summer sessions at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA, where they complete classroom and clinical experience.

In determining the award, the CoARC Board used objective criteria based on key accreditation metrics such as pass rate on the RRT credentialing examination (100%) and job placement rates (100%) documented in the 2016 Annual Report of Current Status.
