MANSFIELD, PA— Through a recent partnership with the Pennsylvania Child Care Association (PACCA), Mansfield University is now participating in the T.E.A.C.H. (Teacher Education And Compensation Helps) Early Childhood® PENNSYLVANIA Scholarship Program.
Administered by PACCA, the T.E.A.C.H. Scholarship Program helps child care professionals complete coursework toward a degree or credential in early childhood education at a participating university.
By agreement with Mansfield University, PACCA will pay 100% of the tuition and selected fees for approved scholarship recipients taking up to, and including, six credits per semester. The credits must be applicable to a bachelor’s degree and/or teacher certification in Early Childhood Education, Grades PreK-4.
The agreement was signed by Scott Barton, interim president of Mansfield University, and Diane Barber, executive director of the Pennsylvania Child Care Association.
“Mansfield University is pleased to be able to help area child care professionals meet their educational needs through our partnership in the T.E.A.C.H. program,” Barton said. “This partnership is an excellent example of how our university can be proactive when meeting the needs of our regional community.”
