MANSFIELD, PA—This year’s Mansfield University Music Department Holiday Choral Concert, “Sleigh Bells Ring,” will be broadcast on Blue Ridge Cable and WETM-TV2 during the holiday season.
Blue Ridge Cable in the Mansfield-Wellsboro area will broadcast this year’s concert several times in the Northern Tier on Cable Channel 13. The schedule includes December 16 at 8:30 p.m. and December 23 at 11:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m., daily from December 18-22 at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., and on December 17 and December 24 at 12:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
The concert will also be broadcast eight times on Christmas Day with airings at 10 and 11 a.m., 12:30, 1:30, 2:30, 7:30, 8:30 and 9:30 p.m.
Across the entire Blue Ridge system on Digital Channel 113, the concert will air December 19 at 9 p.m., December 22 at 7 p.m., December 24 at 8 p.m., on Christmas Day at 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., and on December 27 at 8 p.m.
WETM2-TV (Elmira) will air the concert twice, at 1 p.m. on December 23 and at 6 p.m. on Christmas Day.
The broadcast is a one-hour version of the concert’s original performance earlier this month in Steadman Theatre.
The program, produced and directed by Director of Choral Activities Peggy Dettwiler, features more than 150 musicians. Singers and instrumentalists in the Women’s Chorus, Men’s Chorus, Festival Chorus, Chamber Singers and the Concert Choir took part.
