New Alumni Directory Project to be Launched

MANSFIELD, PA—At Mansfield University, we strive to keep our alumni connected to the school and to each other. In order to do this, the Mansfield University Alumni Relations Office and the Alumni Association has partnered with Publishing Concepts, Inc. (PCI) to produce a new alumni directory.

PCI will begin contacting MU alumni via e-mail, mail, and/or phone to verify the accuracy of our alumni information in the near future. Director of Alumni Relations Casey Wood ’02 encourages the MU alumni community to participate in the alumni directory project.

“PCI is a reputable, professional company that will strive to make the verification process quick and painless,” Wood said. “The greater our participation rate is specific to this project, the more accurate and complete our alumni directory and database will be.”

PCI is a family-owned company that traces its origins back to the nation’s first alumni directory publisher, the Rockwell F. Clancy Company, established in 1921. PCI is located in Dallas, Texas. PCI’s products help colleges and universities update alumni information for the purpose of encouraging alumni engagement. PCI publishes directories for alumni and development offices of universities, colleges, professional schools, independent schools, alumni associations, fraternities, and sororities.

“To provide our alumni with consistent university communications and alumni benefits, we have to first successfully reach our alumni,” Wood said. “Launching the alumni directory project, which is at no cost to the university or alumni association, is really the first step in elevating our alumni engagement efforts and scrubbing our database.”
