MANSFIELD, PA— The Mansfield University community is mourning 
the passing of Associate Professor John Mansfield, who died on Tuesday, January 23.
Mansfield served on the faculty and was formerly chair of the Department of Social Work. He was also president of the Mansfield chapter of the Association of Pennsylvania State College and University Faculties (APSCUF).
Visitation will be on Thursday, January 25, 5 –7: 30 p.m. at Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, 139 Main Street in Wellsboro.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, January 26 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Peters Catholic Church, 38 Central Avenue in Wellsboro.
