MANSFIELD, PA— “You Can Live with Mental Illness: A Personal Account” will be the topic of a presentation by regional artist and small business owner Jen Sekella on Wednesday, April 4, 6 p.m. in North Manser Hall. The presentation is free and open to the public.
Sekella does not claim to be an expert, but she is a “mostly successful, usually productive person living a pretty normal life with a diagnosis of bipolar disorder.”
From her diagnosis in college, to the launching of her own passion-driven business, Sekella hopes her story of adult life through the lens of mental illness will inform, reassure, and inspire others.
Sekella’s presentation is sponsored by the Mansfield University Counseling Center.
