Mansfield to Host CPUB Annual Meeting

MANSFIELD, PA—Mansfield University will host the 49th annual Commonwealth of Pennsylvania University Biologists (CPUB) Meeting on April 6-8.

The meeting will bring students and faculty from the 14 universities in Pennsylvania’s State System of Higher Education together for a full schedule of presentations, workshops, poster sessions and other events, most facilitated by MU faculty and students.

Dr. Jonas Korlach, chief scientific officer of Pacific Biosciences will deliver the  keynote address, “Single Molecule, Real-Time (SMRT) Biology,” on Saturday.

Founded in 1973, CPUB provides support for the teaching and research activities of faculty and students in the biological sciences from the 14 state-owned universities.
