MU to Offer Classes in Towanda

MANSFIELD, PA— Mansfield University will begin offering eveningMansfield University classes at the Towanda Center in Towanda, PA beginning in the fall semester.

The initial offering will be Intro to Watershed Management (WSM 1600) on Wednesdays, 5-8 p.m. beginning August 27.

This introductory three-credit natural science course, taught by Assistant Professor Jennifer Demchak, explores important processes, concepts, and approaches to watershed management and assessment.

Topics will include delineation of watersheds, movement of surface and sub-surface water and the interaction of water, land and biota. This class is appropriate for anyone interested in the environment and water resources.
