Incoming, degree-seeking undergraduate enrollment up 32% compared to last Spring
MANSFIELD, Pa. – Mansfield
University’s enrollment growth continued into the Spring 2020 semester with a 32%
increase in new degree-seeking undergraduate students compared to Spring 2019.
As a result, Mansfield’s
Spring 2020 undergraduate enrollment overall is 10% higher than the Spring 2019
enrollment, an increase of 152 students.
This increase follows the
university’s strong enrollment growth in Fall 2019, when Mansfield welcomed a
new degree-seeking undergraduate class that was 38% larger than the previous
Fall.
“We are pleased to see the enrollment growth we experienced in the fall continue into the spring semester,” said Dr. Charles Patterson, President of Mansfield University. “Everyone on campus is playing an important role in this positive trend.
“Our commitment is to the
students and their experiences in and outside of the classroom,” Patterson
continued. “This commitment, along with Mansfield’s emphasis on affordability, is
critical for our students and their families.”
