Mansfield Receives Military “Top School” Designation

MANSFIELD, PA— Mansfield University has been designated a “TopPrint School” by Military Advanced Education (MAE) in the magazine’s 2015 Guide to Colleges & Universities.

The guide, which measures best practices in military and veteran education, was released in the December issue of MAE. It is available online at mae-kmi.com.

MAE’s Guide to Colleges & Universities presents the results of a questionnaire of the military-supportive policies enacted at more than 600 institutions. It serves as tool for both education services officers and transition officers when advising service members about their educational opportunities.

Now in its eighth year, MAE was the first publication to launch a reference tool of this type according to the guide’s publishers.

Kelly Fodel, editor of MAE magazine, said the guide serves as an “invaluable tool for both education services officers and transition officers when advising service members about their educational opportunities. We used strict criteria to individually evaluate the submissions of respondents, and we had a record number of schools participating this year.”
