MANSFIELD, PA—This year’s Mansfield University Music Department Holiday Choral Concert, “Lo, How a Rose,” will be broadcast on several media outlets during the holiday season.
WSKG-TV (PBS, Binghamton) will broadcast the concert on Sunday, December 21 at 11:30 p.m.
WVIA-TV (PBS, Scranton-Wilkes Barre) will also show the concert on Christmas Eve at noon and again on Christmas Day at 7 p.m.
WETM2-TV (Elmira) will air the concert on Christmas Day at 5 p.m. and again on January 5 at 8 p.m.
Blue Ridge Cable will broadcast this year’s concert several times throughout Christmas week in the Northern Tier on Cable Channel 13 and across the entire Blue Ridge system on Channel 113 starting Tuesday, December 23.
The concert will be broadcast on Blue Ridge on December 23 at 8 p.m., Christmas Eve at 7 p.m., Christmas Day at 8 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., December 26 at 9 p.m. and December 27 at 2:30 p.m.
The broadcasts on December 24, 25 and 26 will all be available system-wide on Blue Ridge Cable.
The program, produced and directed by Director of Choral Activities Peggy Dettwiler, features more than 200 musicians. Music from 16 countries representing five continents will be presented by more than singers and instrumentalists in the Women’s Chorus, Men’s Chorus, Festival Chorus, Chamber Singers and the Concert Choir.

The broadcast is a one-hour version of the concert’s original performance earlier this month in Steadman Theatre.
