MANSFIELD, PA— As part Mansfield University’s celebration of Women’s History Month, Jolivette Anderson-Douoning will read and discuss her work on Black Poetry Day, Monday, March 16, 4 p.m. in North Manser Hall. The event is free and open to the public.
Anderson-Douoning is an interdisciplinary scholar whose research is grounded in the Humanities and Applied Professions disciplines.
She has published four recordings of poetry and prose; Love and Revolution Underground, At the End of a Rope in Mississippi, Jolivette Live: A Bluesy Funk Life Cycle, and She Energy.
