Jordyn Howe named Director of Alumni Relations

MANSFIELD, PA— Jordyn Howe has been named director of AlumniJordyn Howe Relations at Mansfield University.

Howe, a native of Troy, PA, previously served as associate director of Annual Giving in the Office of College Advancement at Keuka College and as Annual Fund assistant at Elmira College. 

“Jordyn has a proven track record of building relationships among alumni and volunteers,” MU President Fran Hendricks said in making the announcement. “She has experience in fund raising, phonathons and special events. We welcome her to the MU community and our large, loyal alumni family.

Howe has a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communications with a concentration in Public Relations and Marketing from Elizabethtown College and a Master of Science in Corporate and Community Education from Elmira College.

As director of Alumni Relations, Howe will be responsible for building strong relationships with Mansfield alumni, developing strategies and programs to increase student involvement with alumni, and cultivating a network of alumni volunteers to engage with campus leadership. The director also promotes the recognition of personal and professional achievements of alumni and serves as the University liaison to the MU Alumni Association and its board.

The director works with the Mansfield University Foundation staff in the cultivation of potential donors to support fundraising efforts.
