The All-American Rejects to Headline Spring Fling

MANSFIELD, PA— The All-American Rejects will perform in concert atThe All-American Rejects Karl Van Norman Field on Saturday, May 2 at 9 p.m.

Their performance will be the culmination of a full day of music and fun for MU’s annual Spring Fling, sponsored by the Student Government Association (SGA). The day will feature a series of live performances all under a covered stage, plus food and other activities.

The All-American Rejects have sold over 10 million albums worldwide since gaining mainstream attention in 2003. The band has released four albums and is working on their fifth.

The Van Norman Field gates will open at noon and MU student bands will perform until 1 p.m. A Laser Tag Special Event will go on at the same time.

At 1:30 p.m. electronic music artist Paul Basic takes the stage. At 2:45 p.m. urban/hip-hop artist Luke Christopher will perform. Pop and rock artists Vinyl Theatre will perform at 4 p.m., followed by Native Run, a country band, at 5:15 p.m. Pop and rock band Saints of Valory will perform at 6:30 p.m., followed by The Bots, a pop, rock, alternative, urban group at 7:45 p.m. The All-American Rejects will then take the stage at 9 p.m.

A variety of food trailers and vendors will be located just outside the stadium during the entire day.

MU students will be admitted free with ID.

Tickets will go on sale on Monday, April 13 at 8 a.m.

Concert tickets for MU campus community and alumni are $20 and are available for purchase in person at the Mountie Den campus bookstore. Alumni can also call the Mountie Den at (570)662-4922 or (800)577-6798 to purchase their tickets.

Tickets for the general public are $30 and are available at the Mountie Den or online at tix.com

Mountie Den hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturdays 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

The MU Spring Fling concert event is funded by student activity fees.
