MANSFIELD, PA— Henk van Twillert and Vento do Norte, a 12-piece saxophone group from Portugal, will perform in concert 
on Tuesday, March 15 at noon in Jazzman’s Café in Alumni Hall. The concert is free and open to the public.
The group, made up of students taught by van Twillert at Escola Superior de Música (ESMAE), Artes e Espetáculo, in Porto, Portugal has performed extensively in Europe. The Mansfield concert is part of their first visit to the U.S.
van Twillert formed Vento do Norte in 2005. The ensemble has won first prize in the Chamber Music category at the prestigious Concorso Internazionale di Musica camera in Italy in 2007, 2009, 2011 and 2013.
