MANSFIELD, PA— Mansfield University students Isaiah Murray, John Burton, Devon-Lloyd Harris and Joshua Pollitt, accompanied by Professor Jason Roscoe, Academic and Human Development, attended the sixth annual IGNITE Leadership Conference at The University of Scranton on February 21.The Mansfield contingent was among more than 200 students from six colleges and universities that attended. Chestnut Hill College, Marywood University, Bucknell University, Lafayette College and the University of Scranton were the other schools represented.
“The purpose of the Ignite Leadership Conference is to encourage students to engage in new experiences that challenge them to develop as a leaders,” Roscoe said. “The presentations, keynotes and small group meetings provided attendees with the tools they need to succeed as a leader on their respective campuses and beyond.”
The students also had the opportunity to meet new people and learn from their experiences as well as share knowledge and experiences with others.
