MANSFIELD, PA—Mansfield University students, joined by staff, faculty and members of the greater Mansfield community raised more than $19,000 in the annual Relay For Life fundraiser for the American Cancer Society on April 8-9.
Thirty five teams and a total of 459 participants took over the Kelchner Fitness Center for 12 hours to walk, play games, have fun and celebrate the lives of people who are battling or have battled cancer and to also remember loved ones who have passed due to the disease.
The money was raised through a variety of ways including pledges, donations, and raffles.
