MANSFIELD, PA— Hip-hop artist Fetty Wap will perform in concert at Karl Van Norman Field on Friday, April 29, at 8 p.m.
His performance is part of MU’s annual Spring Fling, sponsored by the Student Government Association (SGA).
Fetty Wap burst onto the hip-hop scene with his debut single Trap Queen in 2014. The song reached number two on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart in May 2015.
After the release of several more successful singles, his self-titled first album debuted at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200 in September 2015.

PnB Rock will be the opening act for Fetty Wap.
Tickets will go on sale on Tuesday, April 19.
Tickets for are $30 plus handling fees and are available at the Mountie Den campus bookstore in Alumni Hall or at the Mansfield Area Chamber of Commerce, 54 South Main Street. They are also available online at mansfield.tix.com
Mountie Den hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturdays 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Concert tickets are free to MU students with ID and will be distributed at the SGA Office in Alumni Hall, Room 203, M0nday-Wednmesday-Friday 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and 2:30-4 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1-3 p.m.
The MU Spring Fling concert event is funded by student activity fees.
