MANSFIELD, PA—The Mansfield University campus community has a new weekday option for getting something to eat and drink. Nom Noms Eatery, located on the ground floor of Retan Center, was officially dedicated with a lunchtime ceremony on Wednesday, September 28.
The name was chosen after a campus-wide student contest. The finalists were submitted to the Student Government Association and President’s Cabinet, who collaboratively selected the winner.
Emily Torres, a sophomore from Kennett Square, PA submitted the winning entry and received a gift card from the Mountie Den Campus Bookstore.
Operated by Sodexo Dining Services, the menu will feature a variety of food and drinks, with a seating area inside the eatery and tables also available in the hall outside.
Nom Noms will be open Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m., and Fridays, 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Cash, credit cards, Mountie Money, and MU “Flex” are all accepted.
