MANSFIELD, PA—The Mansfield University Council of Trustees, upon the recommendation of Interim President Scott Barton, granted emeritus status to three retired
MU faculty at its September 20 meeting.
Granted emeritus status and their years of service are:
Jannis Floyd, Education and Special Education, August 1994-June 2017
Louise Sullivan-Blum, English and World Languages, August 1989-June 2017
Edward Washington, English and World Languages, August 1995-June 2016
Emeritus status is granted to retired full-time faculty in recognition of dedicated service to Mansfield University.
The action was based on the recommendation of the academic departments and Provost Steven Siconolfi, and followed a poll of senior faculty.
