New Scholarship Program Announced

MANSFIELD, PA— Pennsylvania students with outstanding academic credentials may qualify for one of three scholarships under the new Tuition Enhanced Award for Merit (T.E.A.M.) PA Program at Mansfield University.TEAM“We want the best and the brightest from the Commonwealth, and beyond, to know that Mansfield is the place for them to continue their academic success,” MU President Fran Hendricks said.

First year students could be eligible for the Student of Distinction Scholarship, which is a half-tuition award of $3,410.

First year and transfer students are eligible for a High Achievement Scholarship

Of $2,500 or the 1857 Scholarship of $1,000.

Students must meet certain criteria pertaining to GPA, SAT or ACT test scores and other requirements to be considered for T.E.A.M.PA.

Academic criteria regarding GPA and credits earned must also be maintained in order to renew scholarships each year.

“We are particularly excited to be able to offer support to these outstanding students year after year, supporting them from their entry into Mansfield University to graduation,” Chris Bridges, vice president for Student Affairs & Enrollment Management, said.
