Students Can Attend Hockey Game for Free

MANSFIELD, PA— Mansfield University students have the chance toElmira Jackals enjoy an Elmira Jackals hockey game on Saturday, March 28 for free, courtesy of the Student Activities Office and Pennsylvania State Employees Credit Union (PSECU).

A bus will pick up students in front of Laurel Hall and leave campus at 5 p.m. Game time at First Arena is 7:05 p.m. as the Jackals take on the Florida Everglades. The bus will depart and return to campus at 9:30 p.m.

The free center-ice tickets and bus tickets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis at the PSECU office in Manser Hall from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Friday.

“The Student Activities Office would like to thank PSECU for their generous financial support of this MU student event, making it possible for our students to attend completely free,” Steve Plesac, director of Student Activities and Student Programming, said.

The event is also funded in part by student activity fees.

The Jackals are the ECHL affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres (NHL) and Rochester Americans (AHL).
