MANSFIELD, PA— Duo Montagnard, Joseph Murphy on saxophone and Matthew Slotkin on guitar, will be performing in concert in Mansfield and in Corning.
On Wednesday September 30 at 3:30 p.m., they will perform in the Hanley Room of the Corning Community College Library.
On Wednesday, October 14 at 9 p.m., the duo will perform in Butler Center, Room 163 at Mansfield University.
Both concerts are free and open to the public.
Murphy, professor of saxophone at Mansfield, and Slotkin, director of the guitar studies program at Bloomsburg University, formed their duo in 2002.
Since then they have performed over 300 concerts, in all 50 states, 20 countries and on six continents. They have commissioned and premiered 25 new works and have recorded four CDs.
